Sanders|Fritom Receives 3rd Lean & Green Star!

Sanders|Fritom has been committed for many years to making its operations more sustainable, with a conscious focus on the future and the livability of the planet for us and our children.
In July 2023, a major step was taken with a clear statement of what we stand for as a company and where we want to go: our entire fleet began running on HVO100. HVO100 is a renewable fuel that reduces CO₂ emissions by an average of 90% compared to conventional diesel. In addition, we reduce CO₂ through our long-combination vehicle (LZV) routes, coupled routes, sustainable buildings, and daily efficient planning.

All the measures implemented over the past years to reduce CO₂ have earned us the Lean & Green third star!

Lean & Green is the largest European program for CO₂ reduction in transport and logistics. Participants in Lean & Green form a community where collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the core.

We are proud that the efforts of our entire organization to be a more sustainable logistics service provider are recognized with this third star. Now on to the fourth star and even more sustainable transport.
