Truckrun Boxmeer 2025: A Day of Joy and Connection

Every year, Boxmeer transforms into a parade of trucks. This is the Truckrun, a day organized by the Stichting Truckers G.K.B. Foundation, where people with disabilities get to experience an unforgettable ride in a truck convoy. The event is entirely focused on fun, experience, and creating that one truly special day. On Sunday, September 21, 2025, it was time again.

Why Do We Participate?

At Sanders|Fritom, transport is our passion. But at the Truckrun, we use our trucks for a greater purpose. It’s a day where we show that we don't just transport packages and goods, but also happiness and connection.

Driver Bianca Tuss perfectly described the feeling when we asked her to talk about the day: "Above all, very grateful! The gratitude from the person with a disability, but also from the people along the side of the road, was special. It was raining thumbs-up signs. And from my own perspective, I am grateful that we are able to make this happen for these people. Something that is normal for us can be a special day for someone else."

About the Day

At 8:30 AM, eight of our drivers, including Bianca, were ready at the industrial park in Boxmeer. Their trucks were decorated with the traditional flowers, a sign of our participation in this beautiful tradition. Between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, the participants registered. Exciting moments followed as everyone found out which truck they would ride in.

The convoy started at 1:00 PM. The route ran through Boxmeer and surrounding places like St. Anthonis, Mill, and Cuijk. Along the roadside, thousands of people were cheering, waving, and giving thumbs-up. It was a day full of happy faces and special encounters.
